Canoe safari Trebižat

Originally conceived as a short refreshing tour and escape from the hot Herzegovinian sun, it eventually turned out to be an indispensable adventure and the central activity of a visit to Western Herzegovina.
A canoe safari is performed on the river Trebižat, the only river in Europe that dives and rises up again for runs nine times. However, this river is not only interesting for this; its crystal clear water and its preservation of the negative human impacts gives us the opportunity to enjoy an eco-adventure, an acquaintance with its curios flow, underwater world and the rich nature of the environment. With the help of friendly hosts, members of sports water clubs and their two-seater canoe, we will sail on Trebižat and enjoy the experience of a rainforest river, barns, fish, small beaches, fairy-tale horses etc. Old and large trees that overlook the river creating a natural tunnel are the culprits for a top-notch experience. At one point you will understand what you are reading here – canoe safari is not a matter of adrenaline and wild fun, which is what the rafting offers.
It is an activity that takes you back to peace and tranquility, while water washes of all anxious thoughts and gives you peace, nature and excitement. After swimming in the refreshing river Trebižat and enjoying the abundant home-made lunch, you are ready to continue your new daily challenges.
